WELCOME to EMC 2016 in Montpellier, France
On behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased to invite you to the 45th European Muscle Conference in Montpellier, France, September 2nd-6th, 2016 (Friday-Tuesday). The conference will be held at the University of Montpellier’s Medical and Law Schools, in the historical center of Montpellier.
The conference will cover all aspects of muscle research from basic to applied sciences. It offers an ideal forum for scientific exchange among specialists from different scientific disciplines and among young and senior scientists.
The up to 300 participants, which are expected from numerous countries, will enjoy great science and the beauty and entertainment of the historical city of Montpellier and the wonderful Languedoc Region.
Our priority is to give the opportunity for young scientists and all participants to give oral communication among the 90 possible oral communications.
Andrew Marks from Columbia University, New York, will deliver the Opening Lecture.

Deadline for the submission of abstracts (no figures or tables) is May 31, 2016. Deadline for registration with a reduced fee is June 1, 2016.
The congress will begin with a Young Investigator Symposium the afternoon of Friday, September 2, followed by the Opening Lecture.
The social events organized by the conference will include a Gala Dinner at an elegant, beachside restaurant.
